Alcohol soluble maleic modified rosin resin is obtained by addition of gum rosin and unsaturated acids and then partly esterification with polyalcohols.It is a transparent solid in flake form.
Product properties:this product is characterized by solubility in alcohols,fast drying rate and high gloss.It can be made into water soluble resin in the following way.After dissolving in alcohols,it is neutralized by amines till the PH of the solution is 7 and then add in water to dilute the solution to water soluble resin,which can be applied to water soluble paints and has the properties of water solubility,good tint and gloss,wearproof,fast drying rate,powder fall out resistance and great adhesion.
Application:it is widely used in alcohol soluble intaglio printing inks,brush polish ink sand water soluble inks,
