Glycerol ester of gum rosin is obtain by esterification of gum rosin and glycerol.It is shaped into pale yellow irregular granular of lump transparent solid by vacuum process.It is an excellent tacky resin exhibiting high viscosity,good heat resistance and fine solvability (compatibility) with various kinds of polymers.
Product Properties:glycerol ester of gum rosin is easily soluble in ethers,acetone (propanone),coal tar,esters,benzenes and other solvents and partly soluble in petrolic solvents.It is characterized by light color,superior yellowing resistance,good heat stability and antioxidancy,strong adhensive force.It can solve in various polymers in any ratio.
Application:glycerol ester of gum rosin is widely applied in the industries of hot melt pressure sentitive adhesive,solvent pressure sensitive adhesive and hot melt adhesive.It can enhance the initial and permanent adhesion of high pressure sensitive adhesive.It is compatible with the high polymers such as NR,CR,SIR,SZS,SBS and EVA.
